Vanda ustii (Species from Philippines)

Found in the Philippines at elevations of around 1250 meters as a giant sized, cool growing, monopodial epiphyte with an elongate, erect stem carrying many alternate, gracefully curved leaves that are unequally bilobed apically and blooms in the fall on a horizontal to pendulous, longer than the leaves, several to many [to 12] flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers. This species is cool growing and can tolerate temperatures of 10-16 degrees celsius. The plant on sale is a seedling in a 50mm tube.
