This Phalaenopsis species is a small sized, hot growing, epiphytic species with to 4, elliptic to oblong-elliptic or oblanceolate leaves. The petals of both whorls are slightly cup-shaped and have quite sharp tops, but usually they are wide enough to overlap at the base. The flowers (long lasting) are creamy, pale lemon-yellow or orange-yellow and have red-brown stripes. The leaves are usually 25 cm long. Phalaenopsis Ambonosa is considered an endangered species which is why we at The Orchid Patio are conservatively managing these species to prevent extinction of this beautiful variety. This is a healthy plant with multiple flower spikes (ready to bloom), this is a gem for all orchid enthusiasts.
