Paphiopedilum Barbatum Stud Earrings (Sterling Silver)
These crafted stud earrings are inspired by Paphiopedilum barbatum, the celebrated slipper orchid commonly known as the Bearded Paphiopedilum, and known in Thailand as V’ang u’ng. Native to Malaysia and peninsular Thailand, this rare orchid grows in moist, shaded valleys, often rooted among moss-covered granite boulders or peaty forest floors at elevations of 700 to 1300 metres. This species has been listed as endangered by the IUCN, underscoring its botanical significance and rarity.
Crafted in sterling silver and finished with rhodium plating, the earrings capture the orchid’s distinctive silhouette with refined precision. The sculpted petals and pouch-like form echo the natural form of the slipper orchid, while cubic zirconia are delicately set throughout the design to reflect light like dew resting on petals in a shaded forest canopy.
Designed as a wearable tribute to a highly valued and threatened orchid species, these earrings embody elegance, rarity, and craftsmanship.

Packaging & Certificate of Authenticity
Each jewellery piece is presented in a signature box designed to protect and preserve its finish, while offering a refined unboxing experience suitable for gifting. The packaging is intentionally minimal, allowing the piece itself to remain the focus, and is crafted for both presentation and long-term storage.
Every creation is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the orchid variety that inspired the design. This certificate reflects our commitment to transparency, craftsmanship, and botanical integrity, and serves as a lasting record of your piece.
Together, the packaging and certificate form part of the experience, ensuring each piece is received with the care, provenance, and permanence it was designed to embody.

Taking Care of Your Jewellery
To keep your jewellery looking its best, handle each piece with care. All jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, with some pieces finished in gold or rhodium plating. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals, as these may affect the metal and plated surfaces. Plated jewellery may naturally wear over time, especially with frequent use.
Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. When not in use, store your piece in a dry place, preferably in its velvet pouch or jewellery box. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time and can be gently polished with a soft cloth. With proper care, your jewellery will remain a lasting expression of craftsmanship and botanical inspiration.
