Oncostele Wildcat Necklace (Sterling Silver)
Inspired by the extraordinary Oncostele Wildcat, first registered by Rod McLellan in 1992. This necklace transforms the orchid’s remarkable diversity into a refined botanical centrepiece. Crafted in sterling silver and finished with multi-tone 18K gold and rhodium plating, the pendant reflects the orchid’s famously varied colour patterns. The sculptural floral motif is suspended gracefully from the chain, with delicate drop chains beneath, each ending in a luminous freshwater pearl.
Rooted in a rich lineage that spans the highlands of Central and South America, Oncostele Wildcat draws from ancestors native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, and Honduras. This diverse genetic heritage has shaped an orchid celebrated for its resilience and visual complexity. The necklace honours that story, embodying adaptability and refined beauty in a contemporary botanical statement.

Packaging & Certificate of Authenticity
Each jewellery piece is presented in a signature box designed to protect and preserve its finish, while offering a refined unboxing experience suitable for gifting. The packaging is intentionally minimal, allowing the piece itself to remain the focus, and is crafted for both presentation and long-term storage.
Every creation is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the orchid variety that inspired the design. This certificate reflects our commitment to transparency, craftsmanship, and botanical integrity, and serves as a lasting record of your piece.
Together, the packaging and certificate form part of the experience, ensuring each piece is received with the care, provenance, and permanence it was designed to embody.

Taking Care of Your Jewellery
To keep your jewellery looking its best, handle each piece with care. All jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, with some pieces finished in gold or rhodium plating. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals, as these may affect the metal and plated surfaces. Plated jewellery may naturally wear over time, especially with frequent use.
Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. When not in use, store your piece in a dry place, preferably in its velvet pouch or jewellery box. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time and can be gently polished with a soft cloth. With proper care, your jewellery will remain a lasting expression of craftsmanship and botanical inspiration.
