Paphiopedilum Barbatum Keychain
Inspired by Paphiopedilum barbatum, the slipper orchid known as the Bearded Paphiopedilum and referred to in Thailand as V’ang u’ng, this keychain translates a rare botanical form into a sculptural, everyday piece. Crafted in brass and finished with rhodium plating, the design captures the orchid’s distinctive pouch-like lip and elegantly arching petals with refined detail.
Native to Malaysia and peninsular Thailand, Paphiopedilum barbatum grows in moist, shaded valleys, often nestled among moss-covered granite boulders and peaty forest floors at elevations of 700 to 1300 metres. Listed as endangered on the IUCN List, this species holds profound botanical significance. This keychain serves not only as an accessory but also as a tribute to a vanishing orchid, celebrating the intersection of craftsmanship, natural heritage, and conservation awareness.
Base Material: Brass
Finish: Rhodium plating

Packaging & Certificate of Authenticity
Each jewellery piece is presented in a signature box designed to protect and preserve its finish, while offering a refined unboxing experience suitable for gifting. The packaging is intentionally minimal, allowing the piece itself to remain the focus, and is crafted for both presentation and long-term storage.
Every creation is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming the orchid variety that inspired the design. This certificate reflects our commitment to transparency, craftsmanship, and botanical integrity, and serves as a lasting record of your piece.
Together, the packaging and certificate form part of the experience, ensuring each piece is received with the care, provenance, and permanence it was designed to embody.

Taking Care of Your Jewellery
To keep your jewellery looking its best, handle each piece with care. All jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, with some pieces finished in gold or rhodium plating. Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals, as these may affect the metal and plated surfaces. Plated jewellery may naturally wear over time, especially with frequent use.
Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. When not in use, store your piece in a dry place, preferably in its velvet pouch or jewellery box. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish over time and can be gently polished with a soft cloth. With proper care, your jewellery will remain a lasting expression of craftsmanship and botanical inspiration.
