Restrepia Brachypus is a species from South America. Although typically known as a cool-grower, it grows well under intermediate conditions as well. A versatile plant, it grows well either mounted or potted depending on the level of attention that you are willing to provide. It only asks to be kept evenly moist. Grow under moderate light, and you will be rewarded with beautiful, bright orange and red striped flowers and a fast-growing plant. Plants prefer moderate to high humidity (you can use a humidity tray) and good air circulation.
